If you own the property you can sell it without an agent but if you see places along the road and you think you can use your sales ability and personality to sell it for someone else, and you take a profit in the form of money or service then Yes you need a license. I understand you may feel you can use your sales talents on the side to make money but this is a licensed profession.
You can sell any and all real estate you own on your own. Privately owned property does not require a real estate license.
