I offered on a house w/ a realator, it was refused. I am buying one for sale by owner, do I owe realator fees?

It depends.

Did you sign a buyer agency agreement with this realtor? If so, then yes, you may owe them a commission no matter which house you purchase - until the end of the agreement.

If you didn't sign a buyer agency agreement, then you can buy any house you want and not owe a commission to the realtor - UNLESS they showed you the house first.

Your post doesn't cover this, but is this the same house that you saw with the realtor and is it now a FSBO?I offered on a house w/ a realator, it was refused. I am buying one for sale by owner, do I owe realator fees?
You may have to if you signed a contract with the realtor. Better check it out first.I offered on a house w/ a realator, it was refused. I am buying one for sale by owner, do I owe realator fees?
